Realtà aumentata intelligente a supporto della psicoterapia


In data 28/12/2017 la Regione Lazio ha ammesso a sovvenzione il nostro progetto di ricerca “Realtà aumentata intelligente a supporto della psicoterapia” di interesse per supportare una serie di trattamenti di psicoterapia comportamentale e cognitiva.
Il progetto è stato realizzato da Isiway S.r.l. in ATI con Cultorale S.c.a r.l..
Il progetto vuole realizzare una piattaforma che abbia come strumento di fruizione la “Realtà Aumentata” tramite l’utilizzo di occhiali Microsoft Hololens, e che sia in grado, tramite algoritmi di intelligenza artificiale, di poter modulare l’ambiente o le varie funzionalità in base all’umore del paziente ed ai propri gusti. Utilizzando algoritmi di analisi video, che analizzano l’ambiente circostante ed in combinazione con le azioni che il paziente esegue, gli algoritmi di Machine Learning potranno modulare le immagini e le varie funzionalità aumentando le interazioni cognitive.
Finalità del progetto è lo sviluppo di una piattaforma che sia in grado di supportare una serie di trattamenti di psicoterapia comportamentale e cognitiva. Nella fase sperimentale verrà sviluppata e configurata a supporto delle terapie palliative per malattie invadenti in pazienti adolescenti. L’idea è quella di rendere un ospedale, o un qualunque luogo di degenza, un “mondo magico” per i piccoli pazienti tramite l’utilizzo di un dispositivo occhiale che, tramite la Realtà Aumentata, trasforma un mondo asettico e triste per i bambini in un luogo divertente con colori, animali e disegni, in base all’umore del paziente, al sesso e anche rispetto ai suoi gusti.
Tutto ciò darà ai piccoli pazienti la possibilità di volare con la fantasia, distaccandosi dalla realtà di un ospedale e dal problema che stanno vivendo. Inoltre, l’ambiente sarà arricchito con giochi interattivi ed educativi che potranno guidare e spiegare cosa sta succedendo, fino alla possibilità di vedere un cartone animato che interagisce con l’ambiente.
Risultati del progetto sono la ricerca e lo sviluppo di una piattaforma prototipale che sia in grado di supportare una serie di trattamenti di psicoterapia comportamentale e cognitiva, attraverso:

  • la “Realtà aumentata”
  • sistemi di analisi comportamentale e cognitiva basato su Machine Learning
  • sistemi di video analisi, per aumentare l’interazione con l’ambiente
Al progetto è stata concessa una sovvenzione, contributo a fondo perduto, di euro 329.592,18 a valere sulle risorse dell’Avviso Pubblico “LIFE 2020” – POR FESR LAZIO 2014-2010.

Intelligent system for passenger profile and screening investigation


In data 28/12/2017 la Regione Lazio ha ammesso a sovvenzione il progetto di ricerca “Intelligent system for passenger profile and screening investigation” confacente al tema della sicurezza nei siti aeroportuali secondo la direttiva Passenger Name Record (PNR) recepita dalla Commissione LIBE (libertà civili) del Parlamento europeo in data 15 luglio 2016.
Il progetto è stato realizzato da Isiway S.r.l. in ATI con Cultorale S.c.a r.l..
L‘obiettivo del progetto è quello di realizzare un sistema di pre-screening intelligente basato su architetture BIG DATA per il controllo dei passeggeri del trasporto aereo con la finalità di aumentare i livelli di sicurezza anti-terrorismo. Il sistema si baserà su ciò che è noto come un Passenger Name Record, spesso abbreviato in PNR.
I PNR sono compilati dalle agenzie di viaggi, vettori aerei e tour operators, contengono informazioni quali le condizioni mediche e le disabilità, le preferenze sui pasti, i mezzi di pagamento, ma anche l’indirizzo di lavoro, la email, l’indirizzo IP se si prenota online e le informazioni personali dei contatti di emergenza.
Queste informazioni vengono immagazzinate in una architettura BIG DATA (Hadoop) che è in grado di analizzarle tramite algoritmi di Machine Learning utilizzando modelli comportamentali, opportunamente ingegnerizzati, che analizzano i PNR con gli archivi dati, black-list messe a disposizione dagli enti governativi e gli Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) disponibili sulla rete (siti web, blog, social network, media, motori di ricerca etc..).
Tali elaborazioni rese affidabili ed efficienti grazie all’architettura di calcolo distribuito caratteristica dell’architettura Hadoop, permettono di assegnare un “punteggio di rischio” di terrorismo alla persona in tempo reale.
Risultati del progetto sono la ricerca e lo sviluppo di una piattaforma prototipale che sia in grado di supportare gli addetti al controllo di un sito aeroportuale nella individuazione, in tempo reale, di persone classificate con un grado di rischiosità sulla base del punteggio calcolato attraverso algoritmi di Machine Learning.

Al progetto è stata concessa una sovvenzione, contributo a fondo perduto, di euro 252.831,77 a valere sulle risorse dell’Avviso Pubblico “AEROSPAZIO E SICUREZZA” – POR FESR LAZIO 2014-2010.

SAVE project: last consortium meeting and final conference

Cultorale informs that on 29 and 30 September was held in Rome the final consortium meetings of the SAVE project; within the project meeting it organized a final conference entitled "Motivation and (self-) evaluation between dual, and NEET youth inclusion The development of guidance systems and customization of learning to the SAVE Project “, at the Frentani center of Rome, with the presentation of the main results obtained in the same project, related to interventions by notable personalities belonging to the world of work and school.
The conference was a real success and has opened new horizons of the SAVE project application in the world schools and work.

SAVE last consortium meeting and final conference

Cultorale and the other of the SAVE project partners announce that on 29 and 30 September 2016 will be held in Rome the closing days of the project; 29 will be devoted to the closure of the project with the comparison between partners while 30 there will be a final conference within which schools will be invited representatives of the world of education and training.

SAVE as a practice of learning personalization

SAVE framework and system actually offer a concrete model of implementation of a personalized learning pathway: self awareness, self evaluation and motivation, together with the biographical approach are the core of a learning pathway focused on the persons’ needs, expectations, attitudes, relevant biography.
That is why the SAVE System and frame were presented and explained during the in service training course “Personalization, models, strategies and tools” carried out under the ERASMUS + mobility course held by educommunity the last 11-15 of July 2016 addressed to european trainers and teachers.

SPEAKY Project

Speaky Project has been concluded successfully, funded by PON, Research and Competitiveness 2007-2013, FESR which has seen the final report of the activities and the latest administrative control procedures.
The project has produced a prototype of the system hardware and software that allows the user to control his own voice the home environment, including multimedia systems, now faces the challenge of sustainability in the market.

SAVE GRADUATE! SAVE system presented at L’Aquila University

The prevention and contrast of NEET and ESL phenomena pass through also the training of trainers during their accademic pathway.
Prof. Valentina Castello presents the SAVE System to a group of 40 university learners, studying as Social workers, during a Seminar, held the 11 of may 2016 at the Human Science Department of L’Aquila University.
The group of students contributed, during the seminar, in a laboratory session, to the analysis, discussion and check of effectiveness of the SAVE System.

FEEDBACK ABOUT DIGITAL PORTFOLIO IN CENTRO SAN VIATOR

In April Centro San Viator ran the digital portfolio piloting.
In this first phase, four teachers and twenty students took part in the piloting. We collected the students’ opinions and their feedbacks. In groups of five, the students have registered in the digital portfolio and they have been able to answer the questions with the teachers’ assistance.
In a second phase, in May, other four teachers with another group of students will complete the piloting in the same way.
The information that we are collecting with the students, will be useful to improve the digital portfolio tool.

SAVE in the frame of the european inclusive education – Sustainable network for Inclusive Education- Conference of the EU Policy Network

Poster session and social dinner in the frame of Inclusive Education educommunity (www.educommunity.it) presents "SAVE - Self awareness Motivation Learning Evaluation 2014-1-IT01-KA202-02472" and "TASK-Teacher Assessing Key Competences in School: authentic task based evaluation methodology 2015-1-IT02-KA201-015399", held in Bruxelles the 12 and 13 of April 2016.
Experts and practitioners from allover Europe worked in parallel sessions on:

  • innovations in Education of Migrants, especially newcomers and unaccompanied minors;
  • implementation of the Paris declaration: discrimination, diversity, citizenship and anti-radicalization;
  • inclusion at school: diversity in teaching & student body, parent/community involvement, democratic governance;
  • key competence and competence based learning.

  • Highlights, remarks and suggestions from the working groups are turned into advices and messages and presented by a Delegation to the Commission – D.G.Education and Culture
    The Conference was a great opportunity to present and share with experts and practitioners the results achieved with the project SAVE.

    Conference "Education, participation, integration - Erasmus + for Refugees"

    Cultorale-DIDA, partecipated at the conference "Education, participation, integration - Erasmus + for Refugees", on 19 and 20 April 2016 Essen, promoted by the European Commission.
    The focus was on strategies for the inclusion of refugees and the related projects.
    The conference was an excellent opportunity to show the SAVE system and the process of awareness of themselves through the personal evaluation system aimed at supporting the target from a condition of no motivation and confidence, typical of students in ESL and potential condition for becoming NEET, toward a state of satisfaction and motivation.

    2^ Consortium meeting on the SAVE project

    Cultorale informs that in June it was the 2^ Consortium meeting on the SAVE project, which Cultorale is partners.
    The meeting was in the town of Loughborough, England and it was a good opportunity for the partners to address issues of project design and management.
    In particular, the main topics were:

  • analysis tool for self-assessment;
  • the digital portfolio;
  • documents of research and analysis;
  • the technological system of the project;
  • definition of the pilot;
  • dissemination and exploitation of project and quality analysis.

    Self Awareness, evaluation and motivation system Enhancing learning and integration and contrast ELS and NEET

    Dida and Cultorale inform that on 19 February 2015 was organized a very interesting seminar on "Self Awareness, evaluation and motivation system Enhancing learning and integration and contrast ELS and NEET" at the headquarters of the International Council, in Via San Saba 14, Rome, where you can listen to speakers of national level, representatives of public and private institutions, some salient themes treated by different European projects in progress, including SAVE and Enterprise4all where Dida and Cultorale are Partners.

    January 2015

    1^ Consortium meeting on the SAVE project

    Dida and Cultorale inform that on 15 and 16 December 2014 took place in Rome, at the headquarters of the International Council, the first of the Project Consortium Meeting of SAVE Cultorale which leads the project activities.
    The Consortium, which hosted all Project partners: SFO (IT), Apricot (UK), Cultorale (IT), Educommunity (IT), Sanviator (EP), Navreme (CZ) was an excellent opportunity to meet in person all partners and initiate the first practical activities of the project.

    SAVE project

    Cultorale informs that in September 2014 started the project SAVE, Erasmus + European project, which deals with the phenomenon of NEET (Not (engaged) in Education, Employment or Training): individuals who are not engaged in an education or training, nor they employed nor seek him.
    The European partners of the project are: SFO (IT), Cultorale (IT), Educommunity (IT), Apricot (UK), NAVREME (RC), Center St. Viator (SP).
    The first consortium project meeting will be held in Rome on 15 and 16 December 2014 at the headquarters of the CIOFS.

    Introduction to structural funds, regional calls, local and national calls for foundations and opportunities' in EU programs

    Cultorale participated provision at Italian Blind Union a 40-hour course on "Introduction to the Structural Funds, calls regional, national and local calls for foundations and opportunities' in the European programs".
    The course, delivered in November and December, provided moments in presence, testimonies, specific documentation and tutorials.

    At the last call LLP 2013-KA4 il progetto SPARKS- Intercultural exchange, inclusion and active Citizenship in Europe. The partnership is composed by Cultorale and other important Nationa and European Partners was submitted.

    IES e TRESY Projects

    At the call LLP 2013 Leonardo da Vinci-TOI the projects IES- Innovative Technology Enhanced Self evaluation and Learning 2.0 system preventing and contrasting ESL in iVET e TRESY - Tele Rehabilitation System. Cultorale participated as partner toghether with other important national and European partners, were submitted.
